This poem always gives me goosebumps and makes me feel very sad. My brother lost many friends in the Falklands, young men who gave their lives. And both grandfathers fought in and survived the the first World War. Sometimes just one day of remembrance is not enough. C xx
Your brother and grandfathers must have suffered so much, to see their comrades lost. I am always so grateful and in awe of those who serve. You are right that one day is not enough.
