Remembrance

"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
  We will remember them."

  6. This poem always gives me goosebumps and makes me feel very sad. My brother lost many friends in the Falklands, young men who gave their lives. And both grandfathers fought in and survived the the first World War. Sometimes just one day of remembrance is not enough. C xx

    1. Your brother and grandfathers must have suffered so much, to see their comrades lost. I am always so grateful and in awe of those who serve. You are right that one day is not enough.
