A sad goodbye

Photo by Mircea Ploscar at Pixabay

I was so sad to hear of the death of my blogging friend Teresa Kasner. She was such a kind, generous person and she'll be sorely missed by so many. Her posts were always so warm and welcoming, I felt as if I was sitting down with her for a chat, having a wander round her beautiful garden, spending a moment by the fire, admiring her lovely home. And I always felt a bit better after a while spent in her company, she had such warmth and open friendliness.

I looked at several beautiful flower photos for this post, but the sunflower seemed the right one. Teresa was sunshine to me, always welcome, always warm. I will miss her. CJ xx

  2. I will miss her as well. Such an incredible woman in so many ways. I think the blog world is so sad today and in the days to come as we mourn her loss. It is hard especially as we are not there to hug each other. Take good care CJ, I am sending you love.

  6. I, too, am so shocked and saddened. It only seemed as if it was a stomach ulcer. I just am having a really hard time with this. she was a sweet and loving person who always was upbeat. it will take some time to process and my heart goes out to Dayle and all her family and Mocha.

  8. It's too sad, too hard to be believed. Didn't her light shine bright and far? I feel so fortunate to have known her, even a little bit. And there is a kind of comfort in finding these tributes, seeing the familiar names... all of us who were lucky enough to have known Teresa.

  10. Thank you for writing this as Teresa deserves to be remembered, as a very active member of the crafting community. I shall remember her love of sharing, her joy that she obviously got from her making ad doing and that she enjoyed sharing so much.

She was also very admirable and brave too, she did speak for who and what she believed in and spoke against that she did not. Not easy in our current world. A warm and caring woman.

I send my heart felt condolences to her friends and family, all of whom must miss her so much, it was obvious how much she loved them all.

  14. Hello CJ, this was a lovely tribute to fellow blogger, Teresa, whose blog I read intermittently but always read her comments on so many other blogs including her signature. Her loss will indeed be not only to family and friends but to the blog community as well.

  15. She is such a loss in our blogging community, always sending a ray of sunshine. The sunflower is a very apt choice. I think it would have graced one of her beautiful table decorations. xx
