'Get a photo of me with my puppy.'
Littlest boy:
'He's MY puppy.'
'
Okay, get a photo of me with your puppy. Quick, there are ants on here. Hundreds of them.'
'Mum, there are THOUSANDS of them.'
'GET ON WITH IT THEN, THEY ARE BITING ME.'
Dog jumps down and runs away.
'Did you get one?'
'I got one after he jumped down.'
Catches dog.
'Quickly, okay, just take one quickly. Well, take a few because, you know, I won't look good in most of them. ... Have you taken one yet? ... TAKE THEM NOW, JUST TAKE THEM NOW.'
Dog runs off. Mother runs off shaking out t-shirt.
It's a really good bench no? Just had to have a photo on it, ants notwithstanding.
Your puppy looks such a darling and you do look slightly similar with your gorgeous brown curls! :)

The bench is really good! Looks like it has been there a hundred years. Oh, and you and the pup look great, too!!
ReplyDeleteHa, I can just picture this. I love the bench, it looks very sturdy. It's going nowhere soon. And your puppy! He looks like a stuffed toy, not even like a real dog. He looks fluffy and floppy. I just love his little face.
ReplyDeleteThis did make me laugh but it's a good photo of both you and the puppy!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! It's a great bench and really lovely photos; your puppy is so adorable. This further confirms my theory that dogs go with their humans (honestly – look at people with their dogs, there will be something that fits, whether it's size, shape, behaviour, colouring, or... curly hair!) x
ReplyDeleteI hope those ants didn't bite as I have had some really nasty ant bites.
ReplyDeleteBertie is growing! How big will he get? It's a lovely photo on a lovely bench. Shame the ants didn't show up in it too. And yes, there is a teeny weeny similarity between you both with your lovely locks 😉 Xx
ReplyDeleteAbout 15" was what we were told, I think he'll be a medium dog. His poodle dad was exactly the same size as his cocker spaniel mum. I definitely think we have a chance in the Dog That Looks Like Its Owner class in the dog show! CJ xx
DeleteJust like a professional fashion model - suffering for the perfect shot!
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures, especially the last one. Dogs looking like their owners is all about the eyes, apparently. Have to say, I look nothing like the Boo. However, sometimes he does remind me of my dad. Wishing you an ant-free rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteHey CJ,
ReplyDeleteI think you look lovely sat on the bench. And. Bertie's face in the last pic is fab! If dogs lol like their owners, then I have big eyes and a paunch!
Leanne xx
You look lovely! It's a treat to see a picture of you. The pup is adorable and I'm glad the little is sharing him so well w/you. hehe.
ReplyDeleteAvoid butt biting ants at all costs!
You and your dog are adorable.. and I even mentioned to Dayle how you and the dog share hair color and style.. lol! I can so relate to the blogger's lengths that we'll go to to get a photo for a post! Enjoy your weekend coming up! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, the bench is really cool. You look fabulous, too! The pup must have doubled in size since you sent me a photo just before you got him, isn't it amazing how quickly they grow? I hope he is a good puppy now :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of the week xx
Beautiful bench and beautiful photo of you and your (or maybe not your) puppy. And yes ... you both have the same gorgeous brown curls. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a GREAT photo, in spite of the ants.
ReplyDeleteOh you do make me giggle! Lovely photo of you and Bertie.
ReplyDeleteTime, kids and pets. Combining them leads to personal growth (or madness - or both).
ReplyDeleteCheers
Jane
Great post... your puppy is adorable.
ReplyDeleteooooh! you look fabulous, the pair of you! and yes, a striking resemblance in the hairdo...:)xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful my friend, inside and out and might I add even with ant bites.
ReplyDeleteOuch! Ants...or anything insect-like! Although I enjoy the pics of pup and you. So tell me, you are about twenty-five? Another ouch. What are you doing conversing with an old lady like me? You are gorgeous, my friend and aside form that, we do have the same hair. I just fuss and fuss to make mine behave! Another ouch.
ReplyDeleteLove your surroundings...you are blessed. Would you like to trade homes one day? Like in The Holiday? :)
Jane xxxx
Hee hee, I did enjoy this, sorry. :-) He's adorable and you're quite lovely looking too. Hope you had some cream for those ant bites... X
ReplyDeleteoh that puppers definitely belongs to you.....you look so suited to each other! xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThese photos are BEAUTIFUL! You are beautiful! I love the play by play. I feel like I was there and also like this exact thing would happen to me.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of you both, sorry you had to suffer the ants to achieve the end result. Bertie looks so cute! Sarah x
