Love this picture of you-it's the 'you' I imagine you to be!

I know your garden is back in shape, your pots look gorgeous and healthy! I have let my city garden grow wild and I really need to do a good clean up. Last year it was thriving because I was never in the country. Now my garden here is coming along and gosh, I, don't know how to keep both going! Lack of rain is always the problem. Enough whining!

So glad you have enjoyed your holidays. Do your children go back to school this week? Around the sports, I hope you have time to get your writing done, some attention to your book, and some ME time!!!

Jane xBlondie's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988377413260331618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6235841642149423068.post-48857772874907942552017-09-04T19:43:35.999+01:002017-09-04T19:43:35.999+01:00Sorry to hear about the allotment but I can unders...Sorry to hear about the allotment but I can understand how you need to reorganise your time especially now you have the puppy! We enjoyed having an allotment and I felt sad when we gave it up but at least we had the experience of having one and swooping ideas and plants with other holders. Those memories will stay with you and if you can possibly get another one in the future. I love the picture of you at the skate park. At least my son was old enough to go to one on his own when he took up skateboarding! I was wracked with guilt, but felt relief whenI finally admitted defeat. This summer I've managed to grow tons, cues, courgette, runner beans, chillis, and strawbs at home. I'll take that. So pleased about your writing: I've very nearly finished faffing with a short story that I'm almost ready to share. Your boys are more independent and you now have the time to focus a bit on yourself. It doesn't mean you won't eventually have the time for an allotment and writing, it's just that right now you are content with your own yard and the goals you are setting for yourself as a writer. I think that kind of prioritizing is necessary and the only way we can keep from burning out. Good for you, CJ, for recognizing and doing what you need. I can imagine it's bittersweet, though. My youngest starts kindergarten soon and while I know it will give me more time to write, clean, garden, etc, it's the end of something special and irreplaceable. Also it's the natural progression and I'm focusing on that. Best of luck in this new season :) Jill sevenoverbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06364781187875610954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6235841642149423068.post-30246123407910092792017-09-03T01:19:48.305+01:002017-09-03T01:19:48.305+01:00So sorry about the allotment but there is only so ...So sorry about the allotment but there is only so much time to go around.
