It looks like you had wonderful weather for your visit, and had a glorious day. I love your tradition of racing across the grass, and I adore your magnolia photos. It's wonderful when you find a fellow enthusiast and can spend a moment or two indulging your interest. Lovely picture of you! Those days of perfect weather where everyone is happy and smiling are treasures that should be kept especially close to the heart:) You're right that it's nice to bottle up the feelings to serve as a reminder on rainy days. We're getting some good weather here, too. It was a little cooler this weekend, but warm enough to run around outside a bit. We have some rain now, but it's definitely getting warmer. All the trees and flowers springing to life make me happy:) Hope you have a wonderful day, CJ!Karihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04482703385103047136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6235841642149423068.post-63524002601664018622015-04-07T19:53:53.819+01:002015-04-07T19:53:53.819+01:00what a beautiful day! i agree -- magnolias are de...what a beautiful day! i agree -- magnolias are definitely my favourite spring blossoms....such a riot of colour and scent....it's a shame they're so short-lived.

whenever i see photos of estates like that, i always marvel that people actually *lived* there....:) xomelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07984286138124792000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6235841642149423068.post-74073843373662836902015-04-07T18:59:52.070+01:002015-04-07T18:59:52.070+01:00Gorgeous CJ - what a perfect Spring day! There's nothing to forgive for the magnolia photos, they're magnificent. I have a star magnolia in my garden that doesn't seem to have done that well over the last 3 or 4 years, but it has managed a few blooms this year - perhaps it's in the wrong place. I only recently discovered that magnolias are pollinated by beetles and not bees because they evolved long before bees did. Let's hope this good weather continues so we can make the most of those beautiful flowers. Have a great week.
